      The sweet smell of flowers
      The array of colours
      Diwali is here
      Firecrackers are heard
      Candles are lit
      Children play
      Presents are given
      We pray to the gods
      Diwali is here.

      Diwali is our splendid chance.

      a short poem on Diwali in English

      It's the "Festival of Lights" today,

      It's time to dress up folks,
      It's time to adorn the thali.

      song on Diwali in English for kids

      Many Many Happy Returns Of Diwali
      Dunes of vapours from crackers rise,
      overwhelm as odorous air resound
      Effusing joy to all abound
      Pearls of glitter in this autumn nights
      beautify our lives else trite.

      Joy, Joy, Joy,
      We can play with our cousins
      We can eat so many sweets
      We can fire crackers
      We can worship Goddess Lakshmi because
      It is Diwali

      Paying respects to the gods,
      And decorating for them the thali,

      This is the spirit of Deepavali.

      That ends evil after a protracted fight When good with all its might Leads us from darkness to Light.

      Happy Diwali Poetry

      A joyful day for minds and hearts and souls;
      And people crowd the Temples to offer,
      Prayers, resolving to take better roles.

      Diwali Poem

      May the Joy, Cheer, Mirth
      & Merriment of this divine
      festival surround you forever?
      May the happiness,
      that this season brings,
      brighten your life and
      Hope the year Brings you luck
      & fulfils all your dearest dreams!
      Happy Diwali
      Deepavali is here, Deepavali is here
      That great festival of sound
      When crackers and laughter abound
      When crackers and sparklers light up the sky
      When delighted children jump with joy.
      Its the Festival of Lights today,
      Its again the day of Diwali,
      Its time to dress up folks,
      Its time to adorn the thali.
      Its the occasion to throng the temples,
      Pray to the Gods and give them offerings,
      Its an opportunity to entreat the deities,
      To bless us all and rid us of sufferings.
      Its the day to light the diyas,
      Ignite the rockets and burst crackers,
      But its also the time to be safe,
      From the fireworks and all the sparklers.
      Its the season to pay a visit,
      To all our friends and relations,
      To hand them over sweets and presents,
      Diwali is our splendid chance.
      But while you spend a time of joy,
      Dont think its merriment all the way,
      Out there wait many of those,
      For whom its no time to be gay.
      Denied of laughter and smiles for days,
      They know not what it is to enjoy,
      Can you not share something you have,
      Can you not bring them a little joy?
      When you can make someone else smile
      When you can be someones ally
      Thats when you can yourself be glad
      Thats when youll have a HAPPY DIWALI!
      As echelons of zillion lights adorn,
      and echoes of triumph and thunder swarm,
      watching even a tiny gleam perform,
      devoring ill,
      sparkling joy despite forlorn,
      exhorts a hearty & happy year merely born
      Todays the `Festival of Lights all oer;
      A joyful day for minds and hearts and souls;
      And people throng the Temples to offer,
      Prayers, resolving to take better roles.
      And most of them are richly clad and clean,
      And eat such dainty foods and sweets with mirth;
      Whilst noisy crackers burst, their lights are seen,
      It seems to be a happy day on Earth!
      But are there not hearts woe-filled, very sad?
      Denied of laughter, smiles for days;
      Todays the triumph of Good over bad;
      But what about the wastage in much ways?
      True joy is when you see someone else smile!
      True charity gives joy in Heavnly style.
      That's it, for now, I hope that you like our article on Poem On Diwali if you like then share with you friend and also share it on social media. Thank you
